The University Club Atop Symphony Towers with a downtown San Diego backdrop provided the perfect Saturday evening atmosphere for a showing of ABC’s new fall show, Pan Am, and a sit-down dinner for influential bloggers.
One brand new to social media and women bloggers, Daisy Brand, jumped into the social media scene at Blogher this year with a pampering and snack suite perfect for a quick getaway from the conference bustle.
When I walked into the Women Create Media conference yesterday at the Joan B Croc Center for Peace Studies at the University of San Diego I was met with what seemed like an arts and crafts session.
Along with hundreds of women I attended Type-A Conference in Asheville, NC last week. It was when I was on my way home that I realized why blogger conferences really matter. And guess what, it has nothing to do with working with brands or finding potential leads to blogger jobs.

I have attended the Type-A Parent conference for the past two years and as someone who attends a lot of conferences I can say it’s one of the best! Plus, the North Carolina mountains are no less than beautiful and pristine, a jaw-dropping backdrop to an amazing conference. I’ll be a mentor there this year! Hope to see you there.
