How Many Conferences Did You Attend in 2012?
While the year is not yet over we’re nearly two-thirds through, which means there was a ton of time for bloggers to fly across the country to attend blogging conferences or simply drive across town to network with their blogging brethren. From Blissdom to Blogher to Bloggy Bootcamp moms got their in-real-life fix for weekends at a time.
I just stopped to recall and so far I have made it to seven conferences this year. That is about average for me, although next year will probably be the first year I stay home more than I am hopping on planes. I say that every year, I know, but this time I’m sticking with it. That said, I have loved attending conferences I haven’t attended before like Reviewer’s Retreat, Social Rev Up, EVO, and Niche Mommy. In fact, that was my goal this year: to attend more conferences I haven’t attended before.
Even though I will be cutting back on conferences next year I can’t help but want to check out Blissdom in Dallas next year or Type-A Parent in Atlanta, one of my favorite cities.

Should be alot of fun being in Dallas at a new venue- the same fabulous BlissDom but a slightly smaller (and less overwhelming sized hotel than the Opryland Hotel). Four years into blogging and I still haven’t attended a conference. I’m not sure that I ever will.
I did 4 in 2012, will probably do about the same in 2013.
I just went to one this year, the Reviewer’s Retreat, but I’m hoping to branch out to new ones this coming year!
I’ve been to Disney Social Media Moms and Type-A Parent this year. I’ll be going to the Family Travel Conference in November. Three is about all I can handle right now.

This was the first year that I attended a conference and my first one was SheStreams. Looking forward to the upcoming scheduled ones!
I went to two – Blog Better Boston and Springboard – also in Boston. LOVED Springboard! Not sure which conferences I’ll make in 2013, but hopefully there will be at least one!
I attended Disney Social Media Moms, Type-A, and BlogHer this year. 2-3 is my max right now. I am hoping to try a new one next year too.
