Bloggers Travel to Krispy Kreme HQ

A quick Google search shows that the Krispy Kreme brand is very popular among bloggers and especially their children. It’s no wonder Krispy Kreme flew parent bloggers to their North Carolina headquarters during their #KKVIB2012 (Krispy Kreme Very Important Blogger 2012) junket this week.

A staple in the south and now a nationwide and international donut and coffee powerhouse, Krispy Kreme showed the bloggers the ends and outs of donut making, including allowing them to make and decorate their own to see the ingredients that go into Krispy Kreme’s donuts. They also learned the science behind Krispy Kreme donuts from the research and development team, heard about Krispy Kreme’s fundraising opportunities for non-profits, and heard directly from James Morgan, CEO of Krispy Kreme, about his passion for the historic company.
