Sprint and Latina Bloggers’ Wine Retreat
This past weekend Ana L. Flores, the owner of Latina Bloggers Connect, partnered with Sprint and Los Angeles Latina bloggers for an afternoon all-girls getaway in California’s wine country.
“Sprint was Latina Bloggers Connect’s client when we launched a year ago,” said Flores. “Since then, we’ve established a great relationship. The client came to us a couple of months ago wanting to put together a nice event for Latina bloggers in Los Angeles as a token of their appreciation and a way to celebrate the holidays together.”
Given carte blanche to come up with the event, Flores proposed a day trip to one of her favorite places near Los Angeles – the wine country in the Santa Ynez Valley which is famous for being where the movie “Sideways” was shot. She believed it would be an excellent way for the client to bond with the bloggers in a very relaxed atmosphere and would also give the bloggers a new experience that they would organically and happily share.
“We invited 15 Los Angeles Latina bloggers and treated them to a 2-hour limo ride up to the town of Los Olivos in the Santa Ynez Valley where we visited a vineyard and two tasting rooms where we had some of the best California wines,” Flores recalled about the day. “Breakfast, lunch and snacks were catered by Latina food bloggers Nicole Presley of PresleysPantry.com and Ericka Sánchez of NibblesandFeasts.com.”
The hashtag for the wine retreat was #SprintConnects and photos from the day, taken by Rachel Matos of TheArtMuse.net, can be found on the Latina Bloggers Connect Facebook page.
