Obviously the iPad is a big investment, and one that you want protected while still having easy access. You’re probably not going to use a protective case if it’s heavy or clumsy. That’s why I fell in love with the Mophie Workbook. The iPad easily slips into the case and fits securely. No matter which way you hold the case, the iPad will not slip out.

When you need to quickly access your iPad, you move the strap and open the cover. Easy. You can then fold the cover all the way back as shown in the picture below. This worked well when I wanted to use the iPad on my lap.

But what makes this case unique is the ability to angle the iPad  in just about any way you want. One side of the case has grippers that stick into the felt-like interior. Those grippers allow you to position the iPad at the angle you need for easy viewing or showing presentations. I was able to use it in both landscape and portrait mode on my desk without having to take it out of the case.

When the case is closed, there is an elastic strap that holds it shut. The case does not add a lot of bulk or weight to the iPad and is very comfortable to carry.

My iPad goes everywhere with me. I have been using the Mophie Workbook for about three weeks, traveling with me on two trips. The faux-leather feels like the real thing, and doesn’t easily scratch or leave marks. There is not a shield for the front of the iPad, but the case does offer some protection.  The case frames the front of the iPad which helps keep the iPad securely in the case.

With the Mophie Workbook, you still have easy access to all the buttons on the iPad. You can plug in the cord to charge or sync your iPad while it is still in the case.

I am very happy with the Mophie Workbook. The only thing I would add is the ability to put the iPad in the case with the Home button on the left or right. That would make it easier for either a right- or left-handed person to use.
