This week Colleen Padilla announced her company’s new app for busy moms and their children called Instant Playdates. According to Padilla Instant Paydates is “designed to help moms coordinate playdates and meet ups. It’s fully integrated with your Facebook network of friends already and is free in the app store.”
For digital moms, launching into the app content space is a smart move especially as more moms continue to be tethered to their smartphones and download useful apps. Creating apps is another way to spread brand awareness and connect with moms in the digital and mobile space.
The free Instant Playdates app is available for download on Apple and Android devices.

This App is totally genius except for one thing. You can only log playdates for “today” or “tomorrow” it would be awesome if it tracked events within a 6 or 12 month period. As a working mom knows “instant” isn’t always the speed at which we need to get things done.
