[Share Your Workspace] Finding Inspiration in the Smallest of Places
I am a full-time mom and I also write part-time from home (really, you can stop laughing now) so, I’ve claimed a small corner in the living room as my office and I hope to graduate into the garage, one day. Since, we don’t have a basement and haven’t been able to park the car in our garage in, like, 15 years!
What makes my workspace amazing is that, with 6 people, living in a 7 room house, it’s where I go to take a self-imposed timeout, write to my heart’s content and, hopefully, use my blogging powers for good (AM SO!)
Aesthetically, it may not be all that pleasing to look at (I know) but, I’ve grown quite fond of it and inspiration doesn’t seem to mind…much.
Moral of the Story: I hope this helps others find inspiration in writing, without apology or fuss, even if it means blogging from the kitchen table, every day, for the 5 minutes that it’s clean.
Wife to Garth (not his real name) Mother of 2 teens & 2 tweens and Blogger at This FULL House Blog, making OTHER mothers feel better since 2003. This FULL House Reviews is where she enjoys writing family-friendly, informational and (hopefully) entertaining posts about products and services that perhaps help make life for families a little easier, or minding her social media skills on Twitter and Facebook and…yes…she does this AND more, sometimes from her kitchen table, even.

How do you get those other family members to leave you alone when you are working?! It seems that as soon as I sit down to work on the blog everyone starts asking me to get them stuff. Seriously. I’m thinking about moving this little expedition upstairs to the playroom.
I finally have an office space again—getting ready to transform a guest room into my “work space” Love all the inspiration I see and there’s some great ones I’ve pinned on Pinterest.
Okay…how did you get a picture of my desk?
Andrea’s workspace looks “simply” great but yours is more in line with mine. I manage my home business, home-school and home management from my desk therefore there is a lot going on in my space.
I work all over the house, mainly wherever people aren’t. I have a desk in my room, but the wifi doesn’t reach it (stupid, old house).
