Desiree Peeples Shares Her Chevy Cruze Experience With Auto Trader
This year the automobile industry came out en masse to reach out to mom bloggers. Nissan, Lexus, Honda, and Toyota were a few automakers to reach out to moms in 2010. Of late, Chevrolet has worked with local moms around the country to put them into the Chevrolet Cruze for test drives. Recently Chevrolet invited 10 Atlanta bloggers to test drive the Chevy Cruze at Atlanta’s Lake Lanier’s Magical Night of Lights.
Desiree Peeples who blogs at MommyReporter.com attended the Lake Lanier Chevy Cruze test drive event and was also chosen to review the Cruze on AutoTrader.com, one of the largest car sites on the Net with 14 million visitors each month. In A Mom’s Eye View of the Chevrolet Cruze Peeples mentioned that she liked the Cruze’s style and reliability, but was disappointed in the trunk space, fabric interior, and that the gas tank was on the passenger side.
“My experience working with Auto Trader is the direct result of being active in my community,” said Peeples. “Attending local offline events and making in-person connections is still the best way to create opportunities to showcase your skills. I’ve learned that so many companies want to work with moms and hear their ideas. We just need to be willing to take the initiative, follow up, and follow through.”
